ALANA'S REFERRAL : April 25,2006

OUR JOURNEY OF ADOPTION

We got an email from the Director of Alanas orphanage with updated information as follows:

Hello Debby,

I'm pleasured to receive your letter. We can tell you the more information about Chuanle. Now, she is walking, taking a bottle by herself and eating rice by the Grandmother. Her weight is 9 kg, her height is 78 cm, her shoe size is 12 cm. We can see through your email that you are a good mom!

Alana is at the Chuzhou CWI welfare home in Chuzhou China. That is in the Anhui Province of China. We will fly into Shanghai and travel to Hefei to the good ol Holiday Inn. The orphanage is about 2 hours from there. Alana will be brought to us at the hotel. We hope to travel back to her orphanage home to get pictures for her. She can not be taken back at this time so mom will have to stay with her at the hotel. WE ARE SO EXCITED!!!

in the Anhui Province of China

She was found at the Wende bridge vegetable Market of Chuzhou at two days old. She was covered with mosquito bites from her night stay. She was taken to Chuzhou CWI Welfare Home. She was named after the town she was found in Chuan and Le which means Happy in Chinese. She is called LeLe at her orphanage.Which means transfer Happiness. She is 17 months old at this time and weights 17.6 pounds and is 27.19 in Height. Alana has 7 teeth at this time. The mother left no information.

She is so cute!!

Baby Alana probably around 1 year. We have more people who have found pictures of her and they are in the mail!

We can't wait!!
